Happy Anniversary ! Janie & Aaron

Today is Janie and Aaron's 3rd Wedding Anniversary. They are in Savannah, Ga and are going to eat at Paula Deans Resturant tonight for dinner. We wish you many many more years together. Make that a lifetime together.

Lets Play Dress Up !

Her and Pa was playing dress up last night in the livingroom. How many men with a sz 13 foot would be caught wearing little princess dress up shoes? Only a good Pa. Lindsey was playing around with the shoes and decided to swap shoes with Pa so of course we had to get that on film. Just wanted to share it with everyone. We are thankful to have such a good man in our lives. Love you Buster.

Just to explain, Lindsey broke her arm when she fell off a bed while jumping at her other grandparents house last week. She is going today to get a cast.

BIG BIG BIG BIG N E W S ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Guess who's expecting a baby?
IT'S JANIE!!!!!

Janie and Aaron are expecting a baby March 24, 2010. Finally, we are so excited. We weren't sure we were going to see the day, But yes it's true. She is 12 weeks today. I'll add a picture of little mama later. She had doctor visit this morning and everything is looking good.

We have known for a few weeks now, but Janie didn't want me to say anything until she was 12 weeks. She still doesn't want anyone to Face Book it yet until after Monday's Cosco Manager Meeting where she will tell her employees.

Aaron and Janie came down one evening to eat and we were joking about not having any tupperware around the house because most of it had made its way to Janie's house with left overs from our many dinners. Aaron says well we bought you some tupperware back from our trip to Mexico. I thought that was a little strange but he handed me a gift box and when I opened it there was a picture frame with this picture in it. I Screamed, Laughed and Cried. I just couldn't believe it. Finally, there going to have a baby. May God Bless them as they start their family.

She came down today and I took off half a day from work and us girls, Janie, Lacie, Lindsey,Crystal and myself went maternity clothes shopping. We had fun shopping. Janie got several outfits and comfortable shoes. Of course the pants were to long so we brought them home and cut them off and hemmed them for her. She looked so cute. She already has a baby bump.

Happy 70th Birthday to Aunt Wilma

Wed was Aunt Wilma's 70th Birthday. Buster and I went to Murfreesboro to eat at Macoroni Grill with Dale and Michelle and Aunt Wilma. Of course she had her glass of red wine to celebrate. They also brought her out a large piece of Chocolate Cake, but I was disappointed that the Opra Singer was off and they didn't sing to her so Dale tried to do the best he could until Michelle slapped her hand over his mouth. He doesn't sing Opra to well but we won't go there. He tried. She is still the spunky ole broad that she's always been and we wouldn't want her any other way. I mean that in a good way, Aunt Wilma. HA HA HA. Sorry I didn't get any pics we were so busy talking. And Thanks Lacie for your little reminder to everybody.

Another One Bites the Dust

This was a Historical event. Buster's old faithfull finally bit the dust. This was a very rare site seeing the old chevy being towed. Even back in the coldest of winter, our newer vecicles wouldn't start but his old 1982 Chevy van would. She's been a good one for him, but this time she's down for good.

Even Little People Get Tired of Grocery Shopping

I couldn't resist posting this cute picture of Lindsey sitting among the Pickles at Kroger. Every little bit she would spot a place to sit on a shelf and sit down. I'm like Lindsey shopping for groceries wears me out and breaks my bank account to.

Rest in Peace

Monday, August 3rd, we attended Paige's Funeral. So sad, she will be missed by all. She had been working at Cloverbottom in hermiage with Challenged young adults and several of them came to her funeral, they were so sad and spoke of her so kind. We never knew how many hearts she had touched with her smile and kind ways. They only played two songs and I have added them to our play list for now. The first two songs on my playlist are dedicated to Paige. Live your life everyday with no regrets and enjoy time spent with your family and friends. You never know when God might be ready for another angel.

We Will Miss You Paige Thornhill

My Niece, Paige Thornhill, pictured here with Lacie at Lindsey's 1st Birthday Party, was killed in a car crash on July 29th in Hermitage, Tn. She was only 19 years old and so full of life. Paige and Lacie was always together at their Meme's house. Paige went with all of us to Panama City Beach, Florida last year on vacation. She loved riding on Gene's Scooter down front beach road. We will miss you. We look forward to seeing you again in Heaven. Heaven just got a beautiful new angel.

Family Weekend

Sunshine and kids came in on Thursday. Shane and Tabatha and kids also came down for a visit on Thursday. Sunday we had Buster's Smoked meat for dinner and the boys a birthday party. We had a yard full of people. Buster, Me and Crystal, Aunt Wilma and Friend, Sunshine, Adrianna, Kenneth and Lilly,Gene, Tracey, Blake, Ryan and Nathan, Janie and Aaron, Lacie, Lindsey and Steve and Rooster, Steve's Friend. We missed Shane and his family as he had to work.

Of course Buster smoked the besssssst pink meat we've had in a while. Everyone seem to enjoy the good eating and family time. We were certainly glad to see Aunt Wilma and hope she remembers her way back to our house soon.

We are already looking forward to October getting to go to Sunshine and Chris's for the Titans game again this year. GO TITANS!

We just want to say we think we have a great family and we love each and everyone of you so very much. May God walk with each of you every day and keep you safe.
